Adult Onset Adolescence: The adventures of being single and fifty-something: a widowed, empty nester who is too old to start a new family (as in having kids) but way too young to sit around playing bridge and waiting to die (Horrors!). So I have begun my second adolescence: college, dating, and looking for a new life somewhere between the by-gone idyllic family of four and the unknown future. It's a crazy world out there, and I hope to share my little piece of it with you.

iMovie!
It's a good thing iMovie didn't exist during my first adolescence. I would have wasted weeks playing with it. I discovered iMovie in my electronic publishing class. I approached the idea of making my own movie with much trepidation, but ... it's really easy. And fun. The AOA in me wants to play. So, that's what I'll be doing in the next few weeks, along with planning my final project (I'm thinking of discovering Twitter for literature). Stay tuned.

iMovie is addicting, even to someone like me, who rarely sees the appeal of technology. I'm hoping Jenny and Meredith will let me do something very lighthearted and fanciful with video for my final project.
